Our Team consists of talent and dedication from everywhere but is most often exemplified in the core group of individuals that we have working with us day in and day out.
Melissa Lycan~President and Partner
Melissa comes from a long background of sales and marketing. Her pre-music career took her to two international software firms, a national political fundraising firm and led to her contributions on numerous non-profit ventures. Today she heads the production department of Whisper Fiercely training interns on live sound, booking and artist development. Heading up the Marketing and Promotions she is certain of incredible progress in 2010. As the mother of two incredibly active children Melissa enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, painting, swimming and just about anything that allows her closer access to nature.
Jason Lycan~Vice President and Managing Partner
Jason matriculates from a long line of cultural creatives the last ten years he has contributed greatly to the Denver metal scene. His experience includes six local music festivals (localpalooza), audio hardwiring and full studio buildouts. His 20 years of artist experience has allowed him to create new techniques for band development and business management that fit into the critical niche’ in the Denver market. Currently he heads Whisper Fiercely’s product development and design team. Jason is also a sucker for the outdoors in between his sleepless nights promoting.
Leighann Newcomb~Booking and Merchandising
Leighann has a passion for music and though her traditional paths have given her immense success in the field of veterinary medicine her love brings her to us. Leighann has been instrumental over the years in helping us build Whisper Fiercely to what it is today. She currently does booking for Sidekicks Saloon and the Rex Lounge adding to the mix her expertise as a merch consultant for bands that are in need of those additional revenue streams. Kenny Adams~Hardcore Specialist
Kenny brings to Whisper Fiercely a style that is as unique as the music he prays to. Many of you know him as an adoring fan but no more. His major focus is booking at Sidekicks Saloon and he specializes in heavy bands so hardcore, grindcore, death metal and heavy metal please feel free to contact Kenny to discuss merchandise, booking and marketing for you HARDcore project!
