What is Artist Development (AD)?
Basically it is the craft of developing and grooming an artist or bands career.
At Bendiksen Productions the goal is to use skill and experience to guide and shape an artist or bands career without changing their unique style and desired goals. The AD process allows BP to focus on areas of need while developing a groups music, live show, products, and promotional materials guiding them towards a successful career and readying them for competing for valuable industry contracts. When a group has been properly developed they are competitive and ready to pursue deals with talent buyers, managers, booking agents, record labels, and publishing companies.
Why do I need Artist Development? Can’t we just do it ourselves?
The AD program is designed to focus on a direct path towards furthering your music career. This process can save you months or even years of time and thousands of dollars by concentrating on a clear strategy and implementing proven AD techniques. How do we get started?
If you’re local or regional, BP takes the time to meet with you in person and assess your needs and goals while offering options and new ideas. In the business world they call that valuation. If you are from out of state or from out of the country, BP utilizes its internet and phone networks. The company has developed an on-line digital production facility to do AD work for our out of state and out of country groups. At this stage we can customize our AD programs and methods to focus on your career and get started. The company then designs a timeline for completing the program and attaining your goals. With a small deposit you can get started usually within a few weeks. BP has spent hundreds of hours pricing the AD Program to make it affordable and profitable for groups. After completing the AD program the goal is to help you sign the industry deals that you will have worked so hard to prepare for.
